There are several fire fighting vehicles hiding away in Kendal's fire station. Stand around long enough for a call-out, peer through the doors, catch them doing maintenance, or go on a visit or open day.

The fire station is on Busher Walk at the north end of Kendal. It is next to the police, ambulance and mountain rescue bases - a safe part of town!
