Cam Spout is situated on Cam Spout crag on the mountain of Sca Fell, which is the second highest mountain in England.to reach it,it is a long walk from any direction,The way we like to reach it is by way of Eskdale, walking from Brothilked to upper Eskdale which is about 3 miles away.
Cam Spout tumbles over the crags in a series of cascades, and is very dramatic, and can be viewed from several levels from the path alongside the crags it is a rough scramble and is used by walkers bound for Sca Fell and Sca Fell Pike.
After How Beck's Journey over the crags it flows through Great Moss before it enters and becomes a tributary of The River Esk.
