Sarasota Lawn Bowling Club was founded in 1927. Originally located at McAnsh Park on Gulfstream Avenue, the Club moved to its present location in 1939. When it moved in 1939 it shared its facilities with shuffleboard courts and only had one green.
The present Club enjoys a full and part time membership of nearly 200 and as well as the local population and many Northern State members we have regular membership from England, Scotland and Canada.
