Joseph Davis State Park is a great place to go if you're into hunting, fishing, or disc golf. There are several ponds to go fishing in and also a dock along the river. The huge wooded and wetland area offers plenty of opportunities to hunt for small game. If disc golf is your thing, a 27-hole course offers plenty of obstacles to navigate around.
There are also a few picnic areas for use here, but the main focus seems to be on outdoor sporting activities.
