Black Sails is a subsidiary top of Wetherlam and it's summit is about a quarter of a mile away as the Crow flies or in the case of the Coniston fells as the Raven flies,solitude is virtually guaranteed here, and the summit is a good place to take in the surrounding views which are extensive in all directions,but particularly good looking NW to the Scafells.
