The North Carolina Finishing Co. was a long time employer in Rowan Co., and was located on US Hwy 29/70 at the Rowan Co. side of the Yadkin River Bridge. It had been there several decades.
The water towers are the classic old metal style, seen throught the south. I always liked them since they were "named" towers. It would be a shame to bring them down.
