Located at exit 168 off of Interstate 95 in Halifax, NC, this lion stands at the front entrance to the Oasis Travel Center.

The plaque reads: "The Emperor - I am the emperor of the land - My kingdom is now Africa - And rule the land from Okavanga to Kenya (in Bible history) and have become a symbol for King Richard The Lion Hearted - Lorenzo Greglier"
