Originally the Chicago & Alton Railroad Depot, this limestone structure was built in 1891. It continued to serve as a passenger depot until 1971 until Amtrak service began in the mid-1980's.
The depot also serves as offices for the Dwight, IL Chamber of Commerce and meeting space for the Dwight Historical Society.
