Nice old tunnel that is still in pretty good shape, though there is a bunch of debris nearby. There is also a shorter tunnel just south of this one. The ties are still within. Used until the 1960s, and was considered as part of the proposed subway and light rail systems. Be sure to click on the tunnel photos at the bottom of the attached link for the website. Make sure you go through the whole series.

This is not the best of neighborhoods, so if you visit, be sure to go with a friend or two. Or at least with someone who knows Kung Fu or his brother Pao.
