This benchmark is the located in John Day, Oregon on the old 1902 Johnson Bros. Store at the corner of West Main Street (U.S. Hwy. 26) and Canyon Blvd. The store is currently occupied by Mosier’s Home Furnishings. The benchmark cap was set vertically on the stone foundation at the SW corner of the building by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1930 and was marked G34.
Condition: Mark found in good condition
