These two statues are located out side of the Polka Dot Drive-In in Braidwood IL, this is located near Joliet, IL. Of course these two guys became famous for The Blues Brothers movie, but were played by Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi, they did sing the songs which became famous. Jake & Elwood Blues are icons in this area and they believe that this is where the nickname Joliet Jake came from. One of the best songs they did as the Blues Brothers was "Ghostriders in the Sky". Dan Aykroyd has gone on to sing this song again and again, reviving it with John Goodman for The Blues Brothers 2000 movie, but sadly it's not the same without John Belushi.
