This reference mark is located in the extreme northeast corner of California, about 30 feet north of the triangulation station. Access is from the north, from the Adel to Fort Bidwell Road, take BLM Road south to Twelvemile Creek, ford the creek and climb the canyon wall to station. This reference mark was set by the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey in 1950 and was marked NEV ORE CAL ECC NPD NO 2.
