Very ornate and well preserved doors, that when opened take you back into the history of Cayuga County, Auburns' history, and the history of the family that originally owned this wonderful mansion. The iron gate at the sidewalk in front of the museum is also adorned with some of the same features as the doors are. They were just closing the museum when we arrived, so we did not get to look around inside, however, we plan to go back another time.
