A bronze statue of a man lighting a cigarette. He's using his coat because he is standing on a boulevard at the coast of the Westerschelde. The name of the artist and the sculpture is unknown. The statue is known by inhabitants as the Cigaretteman.

As long as I remember, this statue is standing on the boulevard. Vandals have often broke off the cigarette, but not anymore. Most people don't even notice this statue due to the fact that it is placed on the other side of the promenade. But when they see it, almost everyone takes a picture of him. Nobody knows exactly why he's there or who made him. Information is not available.
