Located within the Near-North Visitor Centre, this curious time capsule was placed as a part of the "North Bay and Proud of it" campaign. The capsule itself was constructed by the 2000-2001 welding class of Canadore College. It was placed March 27, 2001 and is due to be opened on March 27, 2025. It was placed by the North Bay and Proud of it Committee.
