A very nice playground in an impressively new park on Salem's northeast quadrant.

The land for Weathers Street was first purchased in 1986, but the city did not have the money to develop the site until federal money arrived several years later. The park is quite well laid out, and when the trees grow, this will become a superior park. The only serious drawback is the lack of restrooms.
