The IBM building was designed by the famous architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and is an excellent example of the minimalism of the International style.
The 695 foot building uses curtain wall construction and is clad in dark aluminum and bronze-tinted glass. It is sited alongside the Chicago River with views of Lake Michigan.
