The new Gibsonton Wal-Mart Supercenter is set to open its doors to customers on Wednesday, April 19 and with that shoppers will see new designs and services Wal-Mart Supercenters are offering customers this year. The store’s grand opening celebration will begin at 7:30 a.m., with doors opening to the public at 8 a.m. The store is located at 9205 Gibsonton Drive.
According to Store Manager Vicki Tillman, the new 206,477-square-foot Wal-Mart Supercenter will feature 36 general merchandise departments including apparel, accessories and fine jewelry displayed upon hardwood flooring, an expanded lawn and garden center, and a full line of electronics, plasma TV displays and home entertainment products among digital display walls and expanded casing. As a one-stop shopping experience, the store also offers a bakery, a delicatessen, a frozen food section and meat, dairy and fresh produce sections as well as a full liquor department with a separate outside entrance. The store will be open to customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will include 19 full-service and eight express check-out lanes.
Other store features include a Tire & Lube Express, a McDonald’s restaurant, a one-hour photo lab, a vision center, a pharmacy, a portrait studio, a Regal Nails salon, a Smart Style hair salon and a Murphy USA gasoline station. In addition, the store will have a Wal-Mart Connect Center for wireless phone sales.
