This marker is for four children of E.B. and S.J. Slack.

Daughter Rhoda L. has been memorialized on widest side of the marker. She was born Aug 3, 1874, and died Oct 30, 1894. Son Lester L. is on one of the narrow sides of the marker. He was born Aug 3, 1862 (Interestingly, the same day as Rhoda) and died April 7, 1890. Daughter Minnie E. is listed on the opposite side of Lester. She was born Sept 24, 1866 and died Sept 25, 1892. Finally, Lois L. is listed on the side of the marker itself, instead of an attached plate, below Lester. She was born July 13, 1868, and died Sept 19, 1885.

In addition to the family marker each grave is individually marked with a small zinc plate with their first names. I don't know if it was damaged, just missing, or if there never was one, but Lois does not have such a marker.

The only additional text on the marker is the family name "Slack", and the date "1893." On the plate above the family name is a carving of what appears to be a war medal of some sort, but it is a little worn and I was unable to read it in the current light.
