This is the headstone for the B. M. Williams family. It's a little bit of a mystery as there is a flag holder next to the headstone for a veteran of the war of 1812. No members of this family were born prior to 1812, so it appears the holder has been placed next to the wrong grave.

Barzilla Wright Williams was born April 15, 1829, and died December 17, 1904. Barzilla's wife, Mary died on Sept 28, 1886.

It shows that 1861 was a difficult year for the Williams as three of their four children passed in that year. Amanda, who was 5 years old died Jan 3, 1861. Emmerson died Oct 25, 1861 at the age of 1 year 5 months. Emma passed shortly after on Dec 21, 1861, only one day after her 3rd birthday. A fourth child, Ida, died on Oct 15, 1875, just a few days shy of her 7th birthday.

Both Barzilla and Mary's graves are also marked by zinc footstones which read "Father" and "Mother" respectively.

Headstone text (optional):
Additional text on the headstone reads "I know that my redeemer liveth." This is noted above Mary's side of the headstone.
