Merchant S. Julius Lichtenstein, a native of Indianola, built this Colonial Revival/Queen Anne now sitting in Heritage Park. The home, with window panes divided into the pattern of a St. George’s cross, is typical of upper middle-class housing built at the turn of the century. It was relocated to its current site, nine blocks north of its original site, in 1929. The home is now a creative arts center for children.
