Located in an old town called Fenix, NC. This town no longer exists, but a few homes from the old times still exist. Next to the bridge used to be a stopping point for the trains to load and unload. It is believed there was never a building as a train depot, but just a platform that was used. The train ran from Aberdeen to Rockfish, through Fenix, and then on to Clifdale.

Raeford Rd used to go over the rail tracks, but in the 1930s they built the underpass for the the road.
Bridge Type: Girder

Bridge Usage: Railroad

Moving Bridge: This bridge is static (has no moving pieces)
