ITRI Minerals and Metals Research Building, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, was built 1942–43 with an addition added in 1958. This was the first of many Ludwig Mies van der Rohe designed building on the campus where he served as Director School of Architecture 1938-1959.
