This really caught my eye and maybe it will lots of other folks and they can enjoy it also. Some might night not claim this as a mural but, I do. Fact is there is a lot of neat art work here
This is on the side of the small town pharmacy building as the picture shows. It is located in downtown New Roads Louisiana right on the main drag of highway LA-415\Main Street. Parking is readily available on the street and right next door at the Point Coupee Parish very picturesque court house.
It is a very picturesque south Louisiana small town with a population of about 6,000 people and is extremely good place to visit. New Roads is located on a unique body of water - False River an “Ox Bow” lake. This lake was once the main channel of the Mississippi River in this area. It was cut off from the main channel in the 1700's. The waterway is excellent for recreational boating and is known for fishing and waterfowl hunting. It has a shoreline of about 22-miles with about 4.5 square miles of surface area. Many people come from distant places including Baton Rouge to partake of these resources. The entire shore is filled with camps and lake houses. The entire area is full of the magnificent large live oaks and liken unto all of the Cajun country side.
