This stone marker is between Monument Rocks and the Smoky Hill River. It is just off to the east side of the road. The marker reads "BOD" & "1865". The marker is in good shape except that the 5 is damaged. The base also has an inscription but it is hard to read. This marker has a pipe barrier around it for protection.
This marker is on a road that is passable by car when it is dry. Do not attempt the road when it is snowing or muddy.
