In 1916, the Gahnyhsas-Tecarnedoi Camp Fire Girls pledged the first $25.00 for the founding of the library. In 1927, Dr. Thurlow Patterson, native of Livonia, offered to fund the construction of a new library in memory of his parents, James and Laura Patterson. In addition to having 2 network computers for use, the library is now a free wireless hotspot.
