Snoqualmie Pass is a popular tourism and recreational area, with hiking and biking and fishing in the summer and a variety of winter sports in that season. The Summit Inn is a large lodge-style facility with big open areas downstairs (and a restaurant) and large, comfortable rooms upstairs. There is a small grocery store and a fuel station nearby so you will have everything you need, although you will pay tourist prices for it. But my stay here (two nights) was quite comfortable and gave me access to the activities I wanted to accomplish here this week.
