"El Monasterio de los Capuchinos en Floriana, Malta, es un lugar histórico conocido por su arquitectura y su iglesia dedicada a la Inmaculada Concepción.
Fue construido en el siglo XVI por orden del Gran Maestre Nicolás Cottoner como agradecimiento por sobrevivir a la Gran Peste. El diseño, obra de Mattia Preti, es una joya barroca tanto por dentro como por fuera, con gran parte del interior pintado por el propio artista.

"The Capuchin Monastery in Floriana, Malta, is a historic site known for its architecture and its church dedicated to the Immaculate Conception.
It was built in the 16th century by order of Grand Master Nicholas Cottoner as a thank you for surviving the Great Plague. The design, by Mattia Preti, is a Baroque gem both inside and out, with much of the interior painted by the artist himself.
