"Kode is one of the Nordic region's largest museums for art, crafts, design, and music. Experience exhibitions and concerts in four art museums in Bergen city center and three composer homes outside the city center.
All open museums, numerous exhibitions, guided tours, and audio guides are included in one admission ticket.
Lysverket:
Lysverket features rotating exhibitions. Currently, you can explore the installation FLOM by Hanne Friis. The building also houses the restaurant Lysverket, which has a star in the Michelin guide.
Rasmus Meyers:
The collection of businessman Rasmus Meyer has given its name to a small jewel of a museum from 1924. Over two floors, you wander through the golden age of Norwegian art history, from 1880 to 1905 and onwards to 1920. Here you will also find the world's third-largest collection of Edvard Munch.
Stenersen:
Stenersen is the newest of the four art museums, built in 1978. The museum is named after collector and financier Rolf Stenersen. The second floor of the building hosts rotating exhibitions.
Permanenten:
Permanenten is a monumental building in Neo-Renaissance style, designed by architect Henry Bertram and erected in 1896. The building houses rotating exhibitions, our crafts and design collection, and our collection of Chinese art."
