The lovely holiday destination of Wilderswil is about 4 km (2,5 miles) south of Interlaken. Together with its neighbouring villages of Gsteigwiler and Saxeten it is an ideal place to relax, offering peace and quiet in a wonderful rural landscape. There are excellent opportunities for excursions, sport and walking in the vicinity and further afield. There are 17 comfortable hotels, restaurants, supermarket and souvenir shops,. Places to visit: The village museum “the old mill” which has special exhibitions, Garden of local plants .
