Static cannon display at a small roadside park for the community of Red Mound. This is where part of the Battle of Parker's Crossroads was fought during the Civil War. It is unknown if this cannon is one actually used during the battle; however cannon and artillery played a major part of this battle. Two pictures are required for this Waymark. Please take a close up picture of the artillery. Take a second with the artillery in the distance and capture as much of the surroundings as possible. Name the Waymark with first the name of the area and second what the artillery is.
