[ES] “El incendio se producía en la tarde de ayer en la hidroeléctrica de san Cristovo, en Chandrexa de Queixa.
Un incendio registrado en la central hidroeléctrica de San Cristovo, en el municipio de Chandrexa de Queixa, ha causado daños materiales, ardiendo un cuadro eléctrico ubicado en el interior de las instalaciones. El mismo personal de la planta logró sofocar enseguida el fuego, impidiendo que se expandiera. De esta forma, pese a que destruyó el referido cuadro eléctrico, no afectó en absoluto al suministro ni de la localidad en donde esta instalada esta central de Iberdrola ni tampoco al resto del municipio, tal y como confirmó el alcalde de Chandrexa de Queixa, Francisco Rodríguez.
Según ha informado el 112 Galicia, las llamas se iniciaron poco antes de las 17,30 horas en el sótano central de la nave, calcinando el armario que contenía la caja eléctrica. Al lugar se trasladaron efectivos del GES (Grupo de Emergencias Supramunicipal) de Castro Caldelas, junto con otros medios de emergencias, que ya no tuvieron que intervenir, teniendo en cuenta que las llamas habían sido sofocadas por los trabajadores de la propia empresa.
Además, fueron informados de lo sucedido los bomberos, Protección Civil, agentes de la Guardia Civil y personal de la Consellería de Medio Ambiente, Territorio e Infraestructuras.”
