En la calle Avellaneda 1175, de Luján, nos encontramos con esta capilla Mormón perteneciente al movimiento de los Santos de los Últimos Días.

Esta organización también se conoce informalmente como Iglesia mormona (apodo derivado del Libro de Mormón) o Iglesia SUD (acrónimo de «Santos de los Últimos Días»), dichos nombres no son autorizados por la organización y no recomiendan su uso. Sus miembros se hacen llamar «miembros de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días» o «miembros de la Iglesia de Jesucristo».

Sus textos sagrados, además de la Biblia, son el Libro de Mormón, Doctrina y convenios y la Perla de gran precio. Estos últimos libros son objeto de duras críticas por parte de diversas denominaciones protestantes y católicas más cercanas al cristianismo tradicional e histórico, algunas de las cuales no reconocen los bautismos practicados por esta Iglesia.

On 1175 Avellaneda Street, in Luján, we find this Mormon chapel belonging to the Latter Day Saint movement.

This organization is also known informally as the Mormon Church (a nickname derived from the Book of Mormon) or the LDS Church (an acronym for "Latter Day Saints"), these names are not authorized by the organization and their use is not recommended. Its members call themselves “members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints” or “members of the Church of Jesus Christ.”

Its sacred texts, in addition to the Bible, are the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price. These last books are the subject of harsh criticism from various Protestant and Catholic denominations closer to traditional and historical Christianity, some of which do not recognize the baptisms practiced by this Church.
