When driving along the access road of I-10 and turning onto Fulton Avenue to enter the Beacon Hill neighborhood, or are already on Fulton Avenue driving eastward through the underpass beneath I-10 overpass, you will cross a bridge that spans Martinez Creek to enter the Beacon Hill area. As soon as you cross the creek, but before crossing the railroad tracks, look to your right (South) and you will see a medium sized warehouse that is painted white. This is where this TxDot ROW marker is found close to the edge of the Fulton Street pavement.
This TxDot ROW Station 527 disk is about 5 feet south of the edge of the asphalt of Fulton Avenue. The disk is about 12 feet from the North wall of the SAISD warehouse. It is about 54 feet East of the telephone pole found at the end of the concrete bridge over Martinez Creek. It is about 150 feet East of the westward rail of the train tracks.
The white warehouse appears to be part of the San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD), based upon the sign over the steps up to a doorway entrance along the warehouse wall. The street address on the sign reads: 1206 Fulton Ave., San Antonio, Texas 78201.
