Se mantiene en buen estado y su interior es simple, con pocas imágenes religiosas, altar al fondo, dos sectores de bancos y sobre el acceso el balcón con el órgano. Fundada por los salesianos hace más de un siglo, es uno de los edificios fundacionales de la ciudad. Los feligreses destacan la amabilidad del sacerdote y la belleza de las ceremonias realizadas en ella.
