"The Antela racecourse inaugurates a new season with five races throughout this morning, of which two of them are reserved for English thoroughbred horses, where the new additions to the Galician stables will be seen. Two other races are reserved for sprinters (1,200 meters) and for milers, 1,650 meters. Thoroughbred Arabian horses will also participate and, as a great novelty this year, the incorporation of trotters comes with two international races of 1,800 meters, being the first time that this type of races have been held in Galicia."
