The former Prime Minister Per Albin Hansson was born September 24 1932 in this red and white house in Hyllie near Malmö. Together with his parents and three brothers, he lived in the house until 1898 when the family moved to Malmö. Per Albin died aged 60 on October 6 1946 in Stockholm.
Per Albin Hansson already got involved in politics as a young man and later became chairman of the Social Democratic. He became Prime Minister of Sweden four times between 1932 and 1946.
