This map showing where you are on the ~950km journey from Brisbane to Sydney, is on the north side of the information board. With some 465km to Sydney, you may have come some 480km from Brisbane, so the sign reinforces the symptoms of driver fatigue and of the need to Stop, Revive, and Survive.

There is no Legend for this map, but it does show roughly where the regional airports are located. To the right-hand side of the map, beneath a photo of a Azure Kingfisher, is the narrative of the local indigenous owners of the land - the Dunghutti people. Their totem creature is the praying mantis. There are many middens (old seashell rubbish tips left behind from feasts) in the Clybucca and Stuarts Point area. A story is given on the sign of the kingfisher being the winner in a mythical competition, becoming their King of the Sky.
