The Linnet
By ATM Street Art

The number of Linnets in the UK has decreased by a staggering 60% in the last
40 years. This is because their homes are dwindling. Traditionally they come from
farmland, rough meadows. overgrown hedgerows and flower-rich field margins
where they find their food of seeds and insects.
Modern industrial farming does not value such places.

But this need not be the case, and with political will more could be done to
set aside sections of land to grow more wildly and freely, for the benefit
of Linnets and countless other species of birds and insects.

London based artist ATM paints giant acrylic paintings
of endangered birds across the UK and Europe.
He is passionate about the environment and works
relentlessly to show the world that solutions exist,
change is just about political will.
