No destacan ornamentaciones.

"Santa Margarita de Viladepost is a Romanesque church in the municipality of Castellnou de Bages, in the Catalan region of Bages. It is a protected and inventoried monument within the Catalan Architectural Heritage.

It belonged to the old parish of Ferrans, within the demarcation of the Balsareny castle. It is documented in the 10th century and located near the Mas de Viladepost.

Rural chapel with a single nave covered with a barrel vault, with a semicircular apse to the east. This one features a double spill window. The roof is made of Arabic tiles on two sides in the central nave. On the south wall there is a portal with the date 1646, the year in which it was probably built on top of the previous building. In the same wall we find a redone window. In the west corner stands a belfry bell tower of different construction and characteristics than the rest of the chapel. Below it opens a small semicircular window. The construction was plastered on the outside and plastered on the inside. No ornamentation stands out.

It is considered that the church of Santa Margarita appears documented since 1205. In the years 1294 and 1295, Santa Margarita de Villa Porcorum is mentioned, which would correspond to the same chapel. The reforms were few; Only in 1646 was the portal of the south wall rebuilt and possibly the belfry bell tower raised, while the exterior was plastered and the interior was plastered."
