Painted by local artists Beth & Natalie Strickland as part of a borough beautification project (the Paint-A-Hydrant program) by the Emmaus Arts Commission, the hydrant was painted to commemorate the artwork of Henri Matisse. Colorful birds and rabbits adorn this mostly white hydrant.

This hydrant was painted in 2023.
