This Second World War memorial can be found behind the Great War Memorial in Brechin Park, the public park that lies towards the north-western part of the Angus town in eastern Scotland.
The memorial was dedicated on April 19th 1953 and features a wall with a bronze plaque affixed containing 59 names from the town and parish lost during WWII. The inscription at the top reads as follows:
'TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN GRATEFUL REMEMBRANCE OF THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR 1939-1945'
