"Le diocèse de Quimper est l’un de ceux où les religieux sont les plus nombreux à avoir été mobilisés avec 766 ecclésiastiques dont 232 séminaristes. Après guerre, l’évêché a décidé d’ériger dans la cathédrale Saint-Corentin un monument hommage aux membres du clergé morts au combat. Le mémorial est situé dans le bas-côté nord, constitué de plaques de marbre encadrant une mosaïque conçue par Maurice Denis. Il a été inauguré en mars 1924" (visit link)

(EN) "The diocese of Quimper is one of those where the religious are most numerous to have been mobilized with 766 ecclesiastics including 232 seminarians. After the war, the bishopric decided to erect in the Saint-Corentin cathedral a monument in homage to the members of the clergy who died in combat.
