David Reid McCormick was but fifty-three years of age at the time of his death, which was just a few weeks before his birthday. His Woodmen of the World monument is styled as a vertical tree stump with cut branches, set on a base of four cut logs that are adorned with leaves and ivy. There are several other McCormack markers nearby. The inscriptin is:
