Cadran solaire en schiste, situé au dessus du porche de l'église de Trégastel.
Un article de presse en parle : "Le cadran solaire de l'église avait été posé sur le porche sud de l'église du bourg, à la demande du recteur FrançoisLe Houérou, en 1770. Ce cadran a été volé en 2000, au grand regret des Trégastellois et de son historien local, EmmanuelMazé qui, heureusement, en avait réalisé un estampage avant qu'il disparaisse. À partir du dessin issu de cet estampage, il était donc possible de reproduire le cadran sur une plaque de schiste, à l'instar de l'original.
À l'initiative de Sites et patrimoine
La réhabilitation du cadran solaire de la chapelle de Saint-Samson à Pleumeur-Bodou a donné l'idée à l'association Sites et patrimoine de proposer à Emmanuel Mazé de faire de même à Trégastel. Ce que la municipalité a approuvé avec enthousiasme. Les associations du bourg, les Amis de l'église et Fêtes et loisirs ont accepté de partager le financement avec Sites et patrimoine. Seenu, le sculpteur, a réalisé à la main la gravure à l'identique, sous la supervision de Jean-Paul Cornec, le spécialiste trégorrois des cadrans solaires. Quant au style (l'aiguille), il a été réalisé en acier inoxydable par l'entreprise Thomas, de Ploumanac'h. Le cadran solaire a désormais retrouvé sa place initiale." (

On the initiative of Sites and Heritage
The rehabilitation of the sundial of the Saint-Samson chapel in Pleumeur-Bodou gave the idea to the Sites and Heritage association to suggest that Emmanuel Mazé do the same in Trégastel.
