This U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey Benchmark Disk is set in a concrete monument just northeast of the tall Confederate Memorial, which is at the northwest corner of the Mills County Courthouse. The disk is stamped with the designation V 84 and the year 1932. The disk is in surprisingly good condition; they must be pretty careful mowing around it.
