EN: Trimbach railroad station is located on Marenstrasse in a residential area. It is on the Hauenstein line, which was opened in 1858. However, a station was not opened in Trimbach until 1918, when the Hauenstein Base Tunnel was completed and the old mountain line was relieved of through traffic. The station was moved to its current location in 1960.
The station building is a small single-storey building with an irregular pitched roof. The room for the ticket clerk is closed off and is probably used for storage. In front of it there is now a sheltered seating area and a ticket machine.
The station is now served once an hour in both directions during the day.
DE: Der Bahnhof von Trimbach befindet sich an der Marenstrasse in einem Wohnquartier. Es befindet sich an der Hauensteinlinie, die 1858 eröffnet wurde. In Trimbach wurde aber erst 1918 ein Bahnhof eröffnet, als der Hauenstein-Basistunnel fertig war und die alte Bergstrecke vom Durchgangsverkehr entlastet wurde. 1960 wurde die Station an die heutige Stelle verlegt.
Das Bahnhofsgebäude ist ein kleiner einstöckiger Bau mit einem unregelmässigen Satteldach. Der Raum für den Schalterbeamten ist abgeschlossen und wird wohl als Lagerraum benutzt. Davor befindet sich jetzt eine geschützte Sithgelegenheit und ein Ticketautomat.
Die Station wird heute tagsüber in beide Richtungen einmal pro Stunde angefahren.
