The Municipal Police is made up of Municipal Police officers, and Public Highway Surveillance officers (ASVP), it is responsible for good order and public safety.

The course of action is to help, rescue, inform and ultimately repress people. Intervention during brawls, noise, neighborhood disturbances and any acts likely to compromise public peace.

Local agents benefit from two cameras that can be attached to their uniforms. A new feature that completes the video surveillance system.

Office opening: Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The police station is located at 6 Rue de l'Hôtel de ville - 02600 Villers-Cotterêts.

La Police Municipale est constituée d'agents de Police Municipale, et d'agents de Surveillance de la Voie Publique (ASVP), elle est à chargée du bon ordre et de la sécurité publique.

La ligne de conduite est d'aider, secourir, renseigner et en dernier ressort réprimer les gens. Intervention lors des rixes, bruits, troubles de voisinage et tous actes de nature à compromettre la tranquillité publique.

Les agents locaux bénéficient de deux caméras pouvant s’accrocher à leurs uniformes. Une nouveauté qui complète le dispositif de vidéosurveillance.

Ouverture du bureau: Lundi au vendredi de 8h30 à 12h00 et de 13h30 à 18h00, samedi de 9h00 à 12 h. Le poste de police est situé 6 Rue de l'Hôtel de ville - 02600 Villers-Cotterêts.

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
