"This building is located in the Plaza de San Antonio and behind its walls are hidden all kinds of mysteries, controversies and curiosities.

Therefore, about this house there are many legends of paranormal events such as the appearance of lights, orbs, enigmatic shadows and apparitions that are each more disturbing. Curiously, the large and beautiful windows of the building have all kinds of legends that indicate that one of the most distinguished inhabitants of said house, Micaela Aramburu, widely remembered in Cadiz for her donations and "gifts" to the city of Cadiz.

Micaela together with her husband Jose Moreno de Mora financed the creation of many public buildings such as the Mirandilla school and, of course, the Mora hospital. Likewise, Micaela devised the construction of the Madre de Dios Sanatorium and even founded a hospital in Puerto de Santa Maria.

Well, there are legends that say, among them my grandfather, that during Holy Week, he never told me a specific day, it varied from one day to the next and, according to other sources consulted, I have not been able to find out the exact day either, a figure appeared (they say Micaela Aramburu) behind the curtains of the windows on the upper floor, looking with emotion and sadness at the processions that passed through that area, according to what was said, sometimes dressed in great finery and other times they indicate that she was dressed as a nurse, when she helped to those wounded by war. Although, as readers of the blog told me, it seems that she never worked as a nurse, but her cousin Javiera De Aramburu, who lived on the farm on Veedor Street, did work and dressed as a nurse.

Consequently, it is said, it is commented, it is said that on starry nights and in the wee hours of the morning you could hear Micaela Aramburu calling her children Alvaro and Maria Luisa. Of course, these facts were never confirmed although in Jose Manuel Serrano Cueto's book "Cadiz Oculto 3" it is indicated that "Maria Luisa used to see a person at the foot of the bed when she went to bed. And she even said that her parents did not "They believed her when she told them and what she did was close her eyes so as not to see it." Anyway, children's stories, or not?

Likewise, it was also commented that, because it was a large house and after the death of Alvaro Aramburu in 2010, all kinds of noises could be heard, the occasional scream coming from inside and a lot of "anomalous" lights and movement of curtains even that in 2012 it would be renovated and open to the public again for exhibitions, events and celebrations.

However, as I have indicated before, the greatest investigator of the presence of paranormal phenomena that occurred in this house was those carried out by Jose Manuel Serrano Cueto where he recounts a whole series of paranormal phenomena and events such as the accident of the alcayata, the presence of the big man (some people indicate that it could be Alvaro Aramburu) and many testimonies that the actors of "Ida y Vuelta" related to Jose Manuel Serrano Cueto and even some other personal testimony of the author who has "suffered" in said house.

Anyway, here is the short but intense entry dedicated to one of the most beautiful houses that can be seen in the Plaza de San Antonio. Curiously, last weekend the program "Zona Historia" dedicated a program to the night of Halloween/Tosantos where Serrano Cueto was a guest where he spoke, among other topics, about the apparitions, presences and strange phenomena that occurred in the House of Aramburu "
