Emmanuel is a United Methodist Congregation that has historical roots in this community for 150 years. It has been ministering in this location on South 9th Street and Emmaus Avenue for the past 50 years. EUMC’s pastor is Lela Hartranft.

As is typical of churches constructed in the later 1950's and early 1960's, the main worship hall has a modern tiki style A frame layout. There are wings for offices and classrooms.
